Groups Within My Organization

In VideoConnect, a group is any collection of people who may need to share videos with each other. Most organizations assemble groups which align with the divisions/teams within their population. For example, a retailer might create a group for each location/store which they operate. A software company might have groups for each division of their organization, such as the marketing team, the sales team and the engineering team. An educational institution might organize groups by grade level, field of study, etc.

Administrators have access to a group management menu which allows them to add, delete or edit groups as needed. Users are able to see which groups have been created in two areas of VideoConnect: on the group selection drop-down menu on the home page and on step three of the video management wizard.
